This review is from: The Demas Revelation (Paperback)
"The Demas Revelation" is a great novel. I am an avid reader and I can honestly say this book is entertaining and well written. The main character, Anna, is well developed and undergoes many tough situations. She is an archeologist and uncovers some very interesting things. The supporting characters are also well done and add much to the flavor and plot design.
The local flavor of Italy as well as the academic worlds are described with precision and realism. The situations Anna encounters ring with the possibility of truth and reality. "The Demas Revolution" is far superior in that regard when compared to the "Da Vinci Code." For overall reading enjoyment I liked Shane Johnson's "The Demas Revelation" better.. I do not want to give away any spoilers, as there are fun twists and turns in the story. Suffice it to say that "The Demaas Revelation" is part mystery, part thriller, and part supernatural suspense tale. All these elements are woven together to make a truly great story. In simple terms, this is a good read with life like characters! Shane Johnson just gets better and better with each new book. |
