This review is from: Demeter's Manual of Parliamentary Law and Procedure (Hardcover)
Demeter's manual is an outstanding companion to Robert's Rules of Order. If you really wish to understand the details of Robert's you must read this book at the same time. Demeter expands on parts of Robert's Rules, explains specifics that are unclear, and often shortens the detail making it much more understandable. If you are serious about parliamentary procedures you also should purchase and study Sturgis - "The Standard Code of Parliamentary Procedure"

This review is from: Demeter's Manual of Parliamentary law and Procedure (Hardcover)
These old laws are rather archaic. Since my organization follows this book of rules, it is necessary for me, as president, to understand we are expected to do in certain areas. Thus, it's helpful.
