The rest of the wok is constructed of brushed 18/10 stainless steel, known for its excellent heat conduction and versatility. Because of Demeyere's unique surface treatment, the stainless steel remains silvery white, even after years of cleaning in the dishwasher, and fingerprints are easy to remove. The wok's molded stainless-steel handles are easy to grasp, stop heat conduction, and are attached without rivets (where food and grease often stick). All Demeyere Apollo cookware is dishwasher safe and oven safe to 600 degrees F. Safe for all stovetops, it's very efficient when using induction cooking.
