This review is from: Demian: A Dual-Language Book (Dover Dual Language German) (Paperback)
I really enjoyed having the dual language version of this book to read the German and then glance over at the English side for any words that I didn't understand rather than interrupting my reading to page through a dictionary. The book is well laid out so that each recto in one language corresponds to the verso in the other language. As for the story itself, I don't find the main character of Sinclair to be very endearing. In fact, he's so full of himself that some parts of the book are just painful to read. So would I recommend the story? Maybe not. But if you are planning to read the story and are not a Muttersprachler, this is a nice version to get.
