The problems they must overcome before meeting with the dragon are many. The handeling of each situation by the unlikely pair, make for an entertaining reading. Why would Merlin help the dragon slayer...well, find out for your self! Merlin must visit many other characters which all could have separate stories of their own. The story is more reminiscent to a Greek epic poem than of todays stories, which is refreshing. Ewing is very imaginative and would be great to listen to around a camp fire and although the story is not exactly for children, they would probably enjoy it.
