4.0 out of 5 stars One of the best compilation/samplers I've ever heard, September 13, 2011

This review is from: Demolition Derby: A Crash Course In New Music From Yep Roc Records (Audio CD)
Lots of great music here, and with the exception of Southern Culture on the Skids, all artists I'd never previously known. On the whole, the CD leans toward a thoughtful mix of indie and twang. Amy Farris' "Anyway", The Standards' "Even Numbers" and "Jason Darling's "Ways in Which We Burn" are particular standouts but even the lesser tracks are pretty dang good. Would have been a good buy for $10, and an absolute steal at $5.
