This is the third book of this series that I've read. The author carries on with the Earth coming under multiple plagues caused by the Meme, an alien race that wants to take over our planet and our bodies. In this episode, we see our protagonist group, the Eden Plague carriers, trying to unite the earth politically to come together and combat the aliens and their plagues.

Stopping the Eden group of Free Communities and Neutral States are the typical self-centered, power driven agents. Some of the players that were supporting Eden have their own agendas and start to take actions based upon their own agendas.

A couple of surprise plot twists make this a book hard to put down. I just got this on 10/2 finished it, purchased the next edition (The Reaper Plague) on 10/3, finished that today and just downloaded The Orion Plague and the Cyborg Strike for uninterrupted reading over the weekend. A series that is flowing very well. Developing all of the characters and introducing new ones as the plot twists happen.

Now I just need some rainy weather so I can have an excuse to read over the weekend instead of cutting the grass... :).

I was actually quite nervous when I first began this book, because I wasn't sure if I could get into it. This is mainly because of the fact that it is the second in a series, and I had never read the first one. However, I must say that my apprehension was misguided, because by the end of this book I was definitely wanting more.
Each character has their own story and their own background. They are flawed in some way or another, which makes them very believable. I found the initial storyline very fascinating, and can honestly say that I have never read a book like this in all my natural born days. It was action-packed, and had me turning the pages desperate to know what was going to happen next.

Great effort that kept me surprised, intrigued and wanting more. I look forward to your next book! I will say that the character development was excellent. David VanDyke takes his time in drawing details to create his world and his characters. And details he does well.

This was a great book. It kept me fully engrossed from beginning to end. Good plot, cast and execution. Fulfilling as a stand-a-lone book as well as a series. This is an easy read with a satisfying closure. Loved this book. Writing was good, grammar and punctuation were good and the storyline was very believable. This book is one of the reasons I read. I was totally lost from my world and living in the world between the pages of this book!

It's been ten years since The Eden Plague. Things haven't got any better on Earth. Politics, backstabbing and aliens here and on the way. About half the inhabitants of Earth have the Eden Plague while the other half fights against getting it.

A great submarine section in the story, nukes, nanobots...and much more.

I liked "The Eden Plague" more than this second addition to the Plague Wars series. But if you like hard science fiction, you should love this series.
