Review from my 14 year old sons comments: This is a really good series of books with a suspenseful storyline. I actually had to make him put the books down to eat, sleep, etc... He is normally out skateboarding or playing video games but these books got him hooked.

Great Series they are indeed. Great packaging and wonderful books. If you do not have the first few books this is great to start you out with. I personaly have feelings for the first print hard covers but this is a great product non the less.

I am a big fan of Darren Shan since I read the very first book of Cirque Du Freak series. I have been reading blogs and reviews about him. So far, the people who wrote reviews about him feels the same. About this product, Amazon amazed me by their fast shipping. The books are very fresh. It feels like they are newly printed from the publisher. And Because it was sealed, it would give you the feeling that it was you who first touched the books.

My gifted 13 yr old loves this series. He cannot wait for the next book to be released and flies through each one in a day or two. He says the characters are compelling, the storyline dark, yet not overtly scary and the writing on level.

Anything that makes a preteen want to read in these days of electronic media is great in my opinion.

this is a great box set of books. i only wish they did one box set with all the books.
