As a child of the 70's, I spent many hours pouring over album covers -- one of my favorites was Kiss's "Destroyer", with all four of them in full, goth-glam regalia, including the most amazing platform boots. Especially Gene Simmons... his boots were dragons! Oooooh....

Dang, I wanted those boots.

Fast forward thirty years and as I was browsing shoes online recently, I somehow stumbled upon this boot and suddenly I was 9 again. Except this time, I had a credit card. I didn't care what my mom would say, or where I'd wear them -- I bought the boots. They arrived yesterday, about a week after I ordered them.

They're fierce! Warning, though, they seem to be cut a bit narrow. My legs are not chunky at all and these boots are SNUG to zip up my calves. I wouldn't trust this material to stretch, either, it doesn't seem to have much give.

Love 'em, though. They've got a real "fetish" look to 'em but they're steady & comfortable to walk in. I can't see wearing them under long jeans, though... the heel is still pretty "out there" for mainstream outfits, I think; then again, I'm probably just too "ivory girl" to pull them off without looking costume-y.

Felt a little silly, actually, buying these boots just "to have" because of some goofy pre-pubescent daydream... But clomping around the house is fun in 'em, especially when I have an appreciative audience.

Maybe they'll make it outside, yet. Just saw a flyer for a local cinema that's playing Rocky Horror at midnight every weekend, all Summer. I think the Universe is trying to tell me something...

These boots are even cooler in person. If you've ever wanted to feel ten feet tall and hot as hell, these'll get ya there. Promise.

love the style and comfort of these boots but, unfortunately it did not fit around the calf area due to having big calf. I contacted customer service and let them know the issue that i was having and they did not give me any problem refunded me back the money.

I was looking for a pair of boots that I could rely upon for concerts and festivals... something sturdy that could handle grassy terrain and hours upon hours of supporting my feet. They got good reviews so I decided to try them. The correct size was delivered, but to my disappointment, the arches were not even close to up to snuff. It's not like they were there but needed reinforcing- I'm no stranger to insoles. But these boots did not even make the slightest contact with my arches. I knew this would be a recipe for pain so I returned them.

I purchased these boots 3 years ago . . . they are very roomy, comfortable, and have held up very well!! I wear them when I go out and when I'm performing on stage w/my band. I get compliments on them every time I wear them!! I purchased them for about $40 and they were worth every penny!!

I love these boots. My only problem with them was that it was real snug around the calf area so I had to punch some holes in the buckle straps to make it be able to zip up. If You have no problem in doing that than they are nice boots. You should measure your calf area first and compare it to the demensions posted so as to see what your working with.

I got these boots so I could wear them at a 4 day metal concert/festival. I wore them 3 out of the four days because not only are they cute, but they don't completely kill your feet! Just put some really good insoles in them and you're good to go! Perfect with jeans and/or a skirt to show off the design! :)

I seriously debated between this boot and a couple others. I loved the buckles, tie, ribbed material, but in the end I went with a shorter boot in both length and heel height. But I'd still recommend these, especially if you want to rock-n-roll all night and party every day.

These boots are really cute for a halloween costume or if you ride motorcycles - they are perfect for that too. Cute Boots
