This review is from: Demonic Mnemonics: 800 Spelling Tricks for 800 Tricky Words (Fearon teacher-aid books) (Paperback)
This book not only explains why the specific word is spelled as it is, but also a mnemonic device to help you remember how to spell it in the future. A great tool for teachers, students, and business people alike. An example? A lot vs alot: reminder...Would you like a little, or a lot? You wouldn't spell a little as one word, so you definately wouldn't spell a lot as one word either.
