The truth is based on one thing- reality. If you have never traveled outside the U.S., have little or no discernment ability or are a skeptic as to what demons, fallen angels, demi-gods, ghosts etc are, this will be a hard book for you to swallow. Dr. Sumrall spent his life delivering people, only those of us who fight the devil and hear him, see him, can attest to what reality is. Sumrall left us a legacy of information, and if you apply it (and it is scriptural) you can win in life every single day. I highly reccommend this book to family and friends, it is better than the fluff some authors are putting out there today!

This book is great for those interested in this subject. Although it takes a mature Christian that has solid faith in order not to be turned off by such a deep and truthful view. I love this authors simplicity in writing about something that is not simplistic. This book was entertaining, informative and an overall good & quick read. I suggest you get it and check it out for yourself!

Sumrall hit a grand slam with this book. Because he is not talking theory, nor is he departing from solid biblical ground, Lester does a great job of depicting the nature of the spiritual warfare we are in, detailing the enemy tactics and giving very practical descriptions of what the attacks look like. Lester's tales of real-life demon encounters are inspirational follow up with very practical biblical advice on how to fight back. Of the many I've read on this topic unquestionably the most useful and readable I've discovered. I give out copies of this book often and it is always received and read with enthusiasm by those of all ages. You will want a copy to keep in your library and a stack to hand out.

This book is very very very enlighting; especially to someone who isn't aware for demon activity. He explains the reality of demons. He gives alot of personal accounts that he personally has had with demons. He gives many scriptures to back it up. He exposes light to the dark areas. I believe every single experience that he has had. Lester Sumrall and his books have inspired me and pushed me towards excellence. Reading his books has peaked my interest on this subject. I would like to also recommend you all read, "Gifts and Ministries of the HolySpirit." That book was one of the best books that I personally have ever ever ever ever read. There is a very very very heavy anointing on that book.

The context of the book was great. The condition the book was in when it arrived was not very good. Looked kind of tattered.

I thank and appreciate the perspective and witness of Lester Sumral on this subject of Demons. Lester provides a good overview along with detailed accounts of his walk with Christ and reminds the readers their authority/power in the name of Jesus Christ over the devil and his demons and the tactics they have used according to the accounts written by Mr. Sumral. Please go over the Scripture references that Mr. Sumral provides in this book. Continue in the renewing of our minds according to the Scriptures and I thank God for Lester Sumral, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Lester Sumrall gives a decent popular level treatment of the subject of demons in this book. It was just that, popular level. It seemed to me to be brief and to skip over a few key points along the way. One good thing about this work is that it can be read through very quickly. I read it in my leisure time and had it finished while taking extensive research notes in three days. There is a section that has some very interesting stories about demon possession and the like. I think part of what did it for me was the fact that I had just finished "Biblical Demonology" by Unger when I went to read this book. After such a masterful treatment of the subject (Unger's) I suppose any other work is bound to fall short. This book did just that - fell short- for me. It doesn't treat the subject at the same level of detail or scholarship as does Unger's (or a few others). I also found this book to be more speculative than others. If anyone ever wanted to study this subject I would unequivocally hand them a copy of Unger's book first. Perhaps this would make a good reference from another point of view, but it falls short overall.

Dr. Sumrall authored over a hundred books not to mention teaching materials for bible college. I have read most of them. This book is another gem in Sumrall's library. If we could all get a hold of this book and learn from Dr. Sumerall's vast experience with demon activity, possession ect, we would all be enlightened to the source and cause of the troubles of our minds, soul and body - we can become free from evil spirits and this book will point you in that direction of liberty in Christ

This is a fantastic book for anyone trying to understand the spiritual realm. It is a very easy read without scholarly terms so any reading level can understand and enjoy it. This book focuses on explaining demonic influences and even discusses whether Christians can become possessed or not. It was very much worth the money as all Sumrall books are.

"Demons: The Answer Book" by Lester Sumrall is an excellent book. I have learned a lot about how the devil and his angels possess individuals and nations. He goes on to give examples of How satin have possessed people and what God did through him to demand the demons to flee.

If you want a book to give you a little background as well as history then this book is for you. It also tells you who satan is, where satan dwells, Can a Christian Have a Demon, etc...
