ABOUT THE AUTHOR During the course of my lifelong struggle with Drug Addiction, I ran afoul of the law and went to prison no less than six times and spent nearly nine years of my life behind bars on the installment plan. Along the way, I encountered members of the Hells Angels, the Aryan Brotherhood, and the Mexican Mafia. Either by divine intervention or sheer dumb luck, I was able to survive those encounters. I would like to believe that it was God's hand that saw me through it so that I could tell my true life story so that others might learn from my mistakes and avoid suffering the fate of Addiction. Every Addict suffers, regardless of his or her Addiction.

I just finished reading this book. This Man has told the brutual truth as to how his addiction to drugs basically ruined his life. I found this book to be very interesting in explaing how drugs can become so additctive that you are willing to risk anything to have them. He had several oppurtunities to make changes in his life however his addiction to drugs seem to win over.
I feel certain that anyone that reads this book would come out of it with an entirely different outlook on the way drugs can control you if you allow them to. All types of drugs are readily avaiable to anyone that may want them, no age group is excluded. In todays society more voices need to speak out as to what can happen when you become addicted. I feel that Lou "Cipher" has gone above and beyond to speak the truth in this book and what role drug addiction played in his lifes failures.
