5.0 out of 5 stars Surprise!
I agree with the other two reviews. When my stand arrived I almost returned it when I saw it was made in China. Very glad I didn't. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. My only complaint, because I have a small shop, is that it is over 4 feet long with extensions retracted. My old Delta Sidekick stand was only a little over 2 feet. 3.0 out of 5 stars Not very much impressed.....!
I'll agree with the other reviews that this is good for the money. Doesn't take much time to install and it's strong enough to hold my 10 inch saw.
My only complain is about the mechanism that hold the rollers. Those rollers are held by sliding arms. In my case, one of the rollers keep tilting way off level because the hole that slides through is much bigger than...

My only complaint, because I have a small shop, is that it is over 4 feet long with extensions retracted. My old Delta Sidekick stand was only a little over 2 feet. The plus is that it extends to over 9 feet, which is nice. My Bosch 4410L miter saw fits perfectly. Don't hesitate to buy this well-made piece of equipment.

5.0 out of 5 stars stand just arrived, November 3, 2007
This review is from: Denali Miter Saw Stand (Tools & Home Improvement)
I took a chance and bought this Denali stand which was priced about half ($90.00 bucks w/Amazon free shipping)the price of some other stands I`ve been eyeballing and I must say my initial reaction is this thing is built to last and is very simple and well thought out. The previous guy said buy this stand and so do I! For the money it is an excellent product that seems to be underpriced but time will tell how she holds up.
I have a giant 12" Makita dual compound slider that I have mounted on the stand and it just makes the mounting depth(from front to back)of the brackets that clamp to the stand. NOTE: (The company recomends not putting a 12" slider on this stand)although the manual states the stand has a 200lb. max weight capacity. When mounted this big saw looks right at home and is very stable through all its motions. I removed the factory rubber feet from my saw base and used a strip of vinyl cove base to sandwich between the saw and the brackets to eliminate any slippage and even out the surface of my base. The supplied carriage bolts clamp the brackets permanantly to your saw so it can be popped off with two quick levers.
I will try to retrofit some wheels and a handle to this setup so I can easily wheel it around job sites. That is the only possible gripe I may have so far about this stand (no wheels) but hey the price is right. Good job Denali!!

My only complain is about the mechanism that hold the rollers. Those rollers are held by sliding arms. In my case, one of the rollers keep tilting way off level because the hole that slides through is much bigger than it supposed to be. This gives me some hard time to keep the other end of a trim board level when I'm cutting it on an angle. They need to make better design to attach the sliding arm to the body and stay level the way it supposed to be..

5.0 out of 5 stars Damn nice!!!!, October 11, 2007
This review is from: Denali Miter Saw Stand (Tools & Home Improvement)
Stable, strong, keeps itself together even after being thrown in the truck. Do not know how I got along without it! Worth every penny. I know a couple of finish guys who have the higher end, Delta, Bosch stands and they are always playing with them, or having to get help moving them into the truck. Not this one - Easy! I can not say enough but I do need to stop - Bottom line - BUY IT!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars well made and a bargain but....., March 15, 2008

The fit and finish are very good making it a steal for the $$ but there is a problem with either the design or specifically the one I received. The threaded shafts of the two knobs intended to allow adjustment of the extension rails are too short. They do not make contact with the square tubular rails even when fully tightened into their respective holes. I called Amazon customer service since Denali is sold exclusively through them and talked with a gentlemen in India who gave me the Denali hot line....which turned out to be a toll free number for GMC. Apparently there is no Denali customer service per se so support or parts will not be an option for anything made by them. Proceed at your own risk.

5.0 out of 5 stars same as ryobi, February 28, 2010

This appears to be the same as the Ryobi table that I purchased at HD. I was able to compare it side by side to the Dewalt and to me it seemed to be sturdier and better built at half the price. Had no problem at all installing my Hitachi 12" on it, although they recommend nothing over 10". Don't be afraid to purchase this because of size restrictions because this thing is built tough. I love mine.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Value, January 24, 2008
This review is from: Denali Miter Saw Stand (Tools & Home Improvement)
I bought this same stand with a different label, the Ryobi version sold at Home Despot. I was actually going to buy the DeWalt miter saw stand because my co-worker has one and except for a few small complaints I like the DeWalt stand. When I saw the price on this stand and checked out the display It seemed like this stand had everything I needed and at half the price of the DeWalt. I also appreciated that this stand is shorter in length than the DeWalt so it fits in my Toyota Tacoma much easier. The clamps are easier to use than the Dewalt ones and like the DeWalt clamps you can still use your saw on a flat surface without the stand. I've used this stand for over a year with a very heavy Delta 12" dual bevel. compound miter saw and have had no complaints. Not sure if it could handle a 12" slider but I know it accepts 10" sliders. If you are looking for a good relatively compact miter saw stand and you don't want to spend the money on a Saw Helper Ultra Fence I say get this one you wont regret it.I'd give this stand 5 stars but like someone else said the extension arms sag a bit at full extension. Not a big deal for me but if you ever used a Saw Helper you'd know what a 5 star miter stand is all about. In fact I would'nt bother with the DeWalt or any other $200 stand because this one is just about as good for half the money. If you want a really good precise miter saw stand get a saw helper. sawhelper.com

5.0 out of 5 stars A Quality stand for a Great price, December 15, 2008

This review is from: Denali Miter Saw Stand (Tools & Home Improvement)
Bought this stand for my Hitachi 10" miter saw. Stand is very durable and has no wobble to it. Sets up quickly and the release arms are very easy to use. My only negative is that I can't seem to find out how to order extra quick relase arms so I could also use it for my router and other tools.

After using a Harbor Freight stand for the past few years - which was nearly as expensive after shipping (and the $25 amazon coupon that I used) - I am happy to have bought this. I thought the lack of wheels was going to sink it, but as I can remove the saw from the stand: Not a problem. The old one had to have wheels, as the saw was attached at all times.

The finish, quality and sizing of everything, is excellent. It looks like Danali may have read reviews, as the square end pieces are a tight fit now.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great stand, May 5, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

This stand was purchased for the Bosch 4410L miter saw. It's a fantastic stand - solid and well built. I had seen the Bosch stand prior to getting this one and it was shaky when using the saw. It had one leg that was height adjustable for uneven ground, but despite that, it just wasn't all that sturdy. The Denali stand is rock solid and works very well. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of wheels for easy moving and storage, but other than that, I highly recommend it.
