Hello all, I have had my Deni oven for about 5 years now and it still works fine ! I have had at least 5 Jetstream Ovens burn out on me over the last 15 years or so,none lasting much over a year ! But I tell you no lie the Jetstream Ovens puts the Deni and the FlavorWave to shame when it comes to cooking things like Air Fried Chicken,pizza and hot dogs ! I did not have to turn my chicken over when I used the Jetstream Ovens because of the high air output of the Jetstream Ovens"4000 RPM fan speed"! But I do have to turn the chicken over when it comes to the low air output of the Deni and FlavorWave ovens!

The Deni and FlavorWave are far more durable then the Jetstream Ovens,but when it comes to cooking,they just can't compete,their air output is way too low !!! The FlavorWave cooks far better then the Deni,on a scale of 1 to ten...10 being the highest I would give the FlavorWave maybe a high 7 to a low 8,and I would give the Deni a five or low 6,but the JetStream Ovens I would give a high 9 or 10 ! I hate the fact that the Jetstream Ovens don't last long,and I wish I could find a durable low priced convection oven with the same high 4000 RPM fan speed of the Jetstream Ovens,but after looking for many years I have had no luck what so ever !

I give the Deni a 4 out of 5 over all rating because I love how durable and reliable it is ! The Deni seems to be the most durable out of the 3 ovens! But as far as cooking goes,it needs a far more powerful fan in it! When I cook pizza in the Deni the top comes out fine but the bottom comes out soft and half uncooked! I have to overcook the top in order to cook the bottom the way I like it! The FlavorWave did a better job with the pizza! On a scale of 1 to ten I would give the Deni a 4 on pizza,the FlavorWave would get a 7 or 8 and the Jetstream would get a 9 or 10! I must warn you that the Jetstream can blow any light weight toppings on the pizza around if you don't put a rack right above the pizza to hold and keep the toppings in place. But to me that's a small price to pay. As far as air fried chicken goes that is where the JetStream Oven blows the Deni and the FlavorWave completely away !

I would rate the Deni a 4, the FlavorWave a 7 and the Jetstream oven a 10 + when it comes to Air Fried Chicken . The FlavorWave gets a 7 because it does a good job on the chicken, its nice and juicy on the inside and the skin is done fairly well . Now when it comes to the Jetstream..not only is the chicken nice and juicy, but the skin is cooked to Perfection!!!! It comes out better then real fried chicken skin,but without all the grease ! I am hooked on the Jetstream oven mostly because of how great of a job it does on cooking Air Fried Chicken !!!

Let me say it again, I hate the durability or lack of durability of the Jetstream ovens, and I and many others wish Nesco would make their ovens to last !
Nesco won't even offer an extended warranty on their Jetstream ovens,so what does that tell you about the quality or lack of durability of the Jetstream ovens ? But it still looks like I have to buy another Jetstream oven if I want the best Air Fried Chicken in town ! I still wish someone would make a high air output convection oven that is durable,so that I could tell Nesco where to go with their great cooking,low durability,falling apart,and cracking into many pieces Jetstream ovens !!!!!!!

As far as the Deni oven goes,I can say it is very very durable,no melting parts,no cracking,no falling apart ! On the other hand,it is only so so when it comes to cooking with its weak low speed fan !

we've used convection ovens foryears and have gone through several, from plastic bowls to glass. we are very happy with this oven, which is glass, because it is easy to clean, works well, and the temperature goes up to 450, which other ovens do not. we would purchase another one.

I was looking for a replacement for my Jet Stream Oven. The Jet Stream procuces wonderful results but I am having to replace the lid and pan every year or so. I wanted something that held up longer so I tried this product. I takes longer to cook and does not produce the same results. The food gets brown on the top but not on the bottom. Also crispy type foods are not as cripsy as the jet stream. The oven gets very hot on the outside. The main problem I think is the Jet Stream moves the air at very high velocity and the Deni is know where near as fast. I will go back to buying replacement parts for jet stream to get the quility.

The oven was defective out of the box. The thermostat was stuck ON. Everything burned. I spent a couple of days (And burned food.) trying to get the hang of a convection oven before I realized that even if I turned the heat dial OFF, the oven kept heating. And wouldn't stop getting hotter.

I called the seller and was told that their warranty was only good for 15 days from the INVOICE date. Between their packing and mailing time, the actual shipping time, and my trying to get the hang, my warranty had expired.

I was disappointed with Ace Digital and Deni both and wanted a refund. Ace Digital refused on grounds the warranty had expired. Even tho there was no time because of shipping and handling to meet their deadline. I'm sure this is designed to avoid ANY responsibility for anything, ever. Amazon couldn't help me.

Now the Deni oven is being shipped, at my expense, to the manufacturer for possible repair or replacement.

I don't know if the Deni oven will work out or not. But I'll never do business with that seller again!

I absolutely love the convection oven. It allows me to cook in less time without heating the entire kitchen. The feature that I love the most is that it can be set to turn off after the desired cooking time. No longer do I forget to check my meals. No more burnt food!

I recieved my oven in a very timely fashion. The temperature control seems to be very accurate. We cooked three one pound pork tenderloins in 45 minutes at 375 degrees. The oven is easy to clean. Not only self cleaning with water as the company explanes. But the glass removes easily to wash in a dish washer. Very pleased with the oven.

I love this oven, theres another review that claims that this on the velocity is slower, I try a friend of mines and is true, Denis is slower the velocity for the hot air, however, the food comes great, easy to clean, since it is glass it wont stain, I rate this 5 * love it...

The first thing I noticed about the oven was the timer. It didn't turn on until I had turned it passed 4 minutes. This seemed livable, I just had to add about five minutes to the time I actually wanted, since it would turn off early.

While trying to get used to the new oven I placed a thermometer in the bowl with a pot pie I was making. To my surprise the internal temperature was reading 100F lower than the dial. I verified this with a digital probe, and it was reading low.

After I was finished cooking dinner I decided to turn it up all the way and see just how hot it got. The dial goes to 500F.

After 10 minutes of heating the internal temperature had reached 400F, once again a full 100F lower than it was supposed to be.

EDIT:
I measured the temperature of the air being discharge at the top of the lid, near the element. It appears the temperature control does cut off at the correct temperature relative to this location.

Other than what I've stated, I don't have any issues with it's performance. I would recommend this product despite its minor flaws.

I am unable to change the number of stars I gave it, but I would rate this 4 out of 5.

I really read all of the reviews and just loved everything i read about the Deni, but, I guess they are all plugs from the company. The Deni was making odd noises just after a month then quit working altogther in about 45 days. And, geez I babied it like a baby. Used only 3 to 4 times a week. Never dropped, Never submerged..just gently wiped with a towel. No residue ever went up inside as I mostly used it to steam vegetables on top wit a little chicken in the bottom (washed the glass bowl, though, of course). What I can't believe is they don't answer the phone and call you back later. Then, they do not honor the warranty that says prepaid shipping...they say that means the customer prepays the shipping. And, you don't get a refund for the shipping....ever. Weeeeee! I am shipping it for warranty replacement now. I told them that I would have to leave feedback and they didn't care. They said "we know". Our square trade warranty doesn't kick in for 1 year from purchase so who knows how many times we will have to ship it back before we can use square trade to replace our money. Then, I will never buy another one. Ugh:(

I've used a convection oven in my house for 18 years now. It has come to be indispensible. 18 years ago I requested an American Harvest Jet Stream Oven for Christmas. They were being advertised on TV at that time. They were pricey. My husband bought me some other brand which was cheaper, but it ended up being wonderful (I do not remember the manufacturer or how long it lasted). I've had 2 others sinced my original stopped working (I've never had a Jet Stream). When my present oven quit, I figured I'd get the Jet Stream I always wanted. After reading reviews from others about "how nothing performs as good as the Jet Stream BUT.... it breaks down within a year(it does not hold up)", I decided to go for the DENI which was half the price. I've been using the DENI for 2 weeks and I have to say it is GREAT! It is quieter than the others I've had, heats up much quicker (consequently cooks faster)and looks more stylish in my kitchen. Also, according to reviews, it lasts much, much, much longer than a Jet Stream. I am thrilled with this oven so far. I will update later when I know how long it lasts.
