I see that this product got such low reviews, mostly from people who are not using a Deni vacuum sealer. These bags are thin and the roll is sealed on two sides. It is meant for use with Deni products only so if you have a FoodSaver that uses textured bags, do not buy this! It works well with the Deni vacuum sealer that I have. I only wish I could but it at Target.

These are not bags. They are rolls of folded plastic that have to be sealed on three sides. The Deni Vacuum Sealer designed to use these rolls has a hose that slips inside the bag and does a poor job of removing the air. Don't even consider these for your Foodsaver.

These bags are meant for Deni vacuum sealers, not foodsaver. If you have a Deni and these are the bags that came with it they will work fine.

I have both a Deni and a Foodsaver. These two machines are both great for different uses. I use my Deni for items that won't be frozen long (it is more economical and though the plastic is thin, it is really tough and when using the right machine, the thinness actually allows for a BETTER vacuum pack) and I really like to use it to make "vitamin packs" so that I can grab a prepacked pouch with my appropriate supplements for AM or PM. This wouldn't work at all well with a Foodsaver. The Deni cuts and seals the rolls so I can make one tube and then turn it vertical and seal each pouch as well.

And the Deni has great longevity. I have had mine for about 20 years and it is still going strong.

I like the Foodsaver for meat that will be in the freezer for nearly a year, i.e. a whole beef or elk; the thicker, textured bags are tough enough to get moved around repeatedly and not develop punctures. Don't use a product as it was not intended and then give it a bad review!

I have used this product for years. It does a good job. I freeze my meat/ bread for months and they come out fresh. I think the problems listed by the other users is due to the use of an incompatible Vacuum Sealer or having water in the bag where it's supposed to seal. It is open on the end. You seal it for the first time. It cuts and seal whatever size bag you need instead of having to buy all different size of bags.

I bought my machine years ago and these rolls make it easy to make bags of any size. I have used these for several years and only had a problem once.

I bought my Deni Food saver from QVC many years ago. I am pleased to find out that I can purchase the replacement rolls here at Amazon.com. These rolls/bags are a life saver when it comes to freezing meat you bought from the store.It saves money by buying in bulk and being able to freeze your items right away.
These rolls ARE NOT meant for a Food Savor brand. They are meant for ONLY a Deni Food Saver.

I've had my Deni freshlock sealer for a few years and was so happy to find the replacement rolls here. The bags are stonger than they feel. Works great for freezer or storage of many items. The Deni sealer alone is a great gadget for re-sealing frozen foods in the origanal store bags. Just hold the edge of the plastic bag under the lid and seal. I use the easy to make bags for many uses, not just food. One of my favorite kitchen tools!

This product is marketed as vacuum sealer rolls but they won't work in Foodsaver sealers so I had to return them. This fact should be explicitly stated in their marketing.

This product will not work with home vacuum sealers that use a textured bag. This is a thin plastic sheet on a roll. You have to cut, fold and seal the sides of the plastic sheet.
