Editorial Reviews

Departing from the driving industrial guitars of lvl's debut, Denial is instead mostly composed of evocative synth work, at times following a solid New Wave beat, at others swirling with layered eddies of ambient sound, and always accompanied by lvl's thoughtful lyrics. Features "Home," "Restore," and a guest appearance by Buka on "What Free Is". Released in 2003

This review is from: Denial (Audio CD)
This cd, from start to finish, is a masterpiece of ambient electronica fused with light industrial backrounds. The cd's high point is definately the upbeat song Home, which I think is one of Level's best song to date. I love how he throws in the aggressive guitars and blends the elctronica so amazingly. Nothing sounds out of place or tacky. It all fits together perfectly. You should also check out his older cd, Devil's Advocate, if you can get your hands on it. Great material.
