I am originally from a small town in Tennessee by the name of Columbia which is about 50 miles south of Nashville, TN. I have lived in
La Vergne, Tennessee with my husband of fifteen years and two young daughters for approximately 11 years. I started writing after reminiscing with a relative about our wild college days while attending college at Tennessee State University in the 1980s. It was those experiences, that inspired me to write my debut novel, 'ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS' in 2001. I've been blessed to be a two time Essence Magazine Best-selling Author. I'm also blessed to have my 5th and 6th novel released this year. Five of my novels are published by Strebor Books Int'l Inc., and my 6th novel by Q'Boro Books. The sequel to ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS is BEEN THERE DONE THAT, which was released in 2003. My 3rd novel, WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND was released in July 2004. Part four of the series titled WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER was released in October 2005.
I'm presently anticipating the release of BROTHERLY LOVE in July 2006 in which I will introduce readers to some new and even more exciting characters. I also have TALK TO THE HAND coming to readers in October 2006 as well. I'm always working on new and exciting projects for future releases.
