Walking can be a great workout because it has minimal impact on the hip and knee joints while delivering cardiovascular benefits and increased muscle tone. In Denise Austin: TrimWalk--Complete Guide some great tips on walking, weight loss, and fitness are laid out in detailed descriptions. Accurate body alignment is illustrated with the use of the "TrimWalk Triangle," which is the actual shape that your body makes from head to toe during a correctly executed stride. The first 25 minutes of this program makes great use of verbal and visual pointers that pertain to this walking regimen. Austin goes in-depth with explanations about foot placement, torso stabilization, and the overall posturing of the TrimWalk system. Form, frequency, and intensity are the three principles that govern the effectiveness of this program. This extensive lesson adds to the safety and credibility of the whole session. Austin is direct and informed while teaching the TrimWalk method and intersperses practical applications throughout this video (she even informs participants on how to figure their own target heart rate). The second portion spans 15 minutes and targets the major muscles of the abdomen, arms, and legs/glutes with isometric exercises. I am not really all that crazy about Denise Austin, since I find her sort of annoying, but this is a pretty good workout. It is 2 casette tapes and one video. The casette tapes have two different kinds of walks, one on each side, for example, an interval walk or a 30 min. beginner walk. She has music on them that will keep you walking at just the right pace and she is always remindig you of how many miles you have walked. She reminds you of other things also. Her video is broken up into 2 different sections. In the first one she gives you tips about your walk. In the second section there is a 16 min. stretch and tone segment. You can do it right after your walk, or you can use it as an every day workout. It's up to you. I would recomeend this video to anybody who enjoys walking.

I purchased the Denise Austin Trimwalk thru Amazon and it arrived promptly and appeared to be brand new and very inexpensive. However, the cassette tape is defective, would like to order another one but cannot locate the ad for it. help me. I am not asking for money back, just send me another cassette and the vcr and bill me the same price as I paid for it. MY first tape was purchased years ago and is just now starting to wear out, I really would miss not having it to listen to while I am walking. It helps me to keep moving.

What the greatest thing about Denise Austin's audio tape? EVERYTHING !!!!!!!
This audio tape and her modivatioal talk is the only thing that get me out there when nothing else would.
The one thing I like best is when she talks to me is ----Squeeze your buttocks you'll look good what behind L.O.L. And hoping no one driving see me do that yet just wait till it's toned. Had several stop me and ask why are you walking like that swinging your arms and going slower and then going faster and I say I'm trimwalking --Denise Austin's trimwalk tapes --get one and join me who knows maybe I can get a group together and Denise could come join us ---I WISH, HOW AMAZING WOULD THAT BE.
