If your looking for a great movie to watch with the family that can entertain your kids on a rainy day, this is definitely your movie! It can have you and your kids on the floor laughing, but yet have some mild scary moments.
This movie is based around Dennis a 5 and a half year old boy who gets into a lot of trouble because of his curiosity. He lives next to the old Mr. Wilson who often is the recipient of Dennis's curiosity. Meanwhile a crook comes through town and starts robbing house's.
Overall this is a classic film that never really get old and has 93 minutes of great entertainment. This movie definitely deserves 5 stars.

I've loved this movie from the first time I saw it, it never gets old. Great cast, funny characters, and fun for the whole family!

This is one of my all time favourite movies. I've loved it since I was younger. I don't even care that it doesn't have a commentary; it has a few really great behind the scenes things that more than make up for it. The one bad thing, though. They've started selling the movie in those crappy eco cases that don't, for one minute, do a single thing to help the enviroment. If you buy this, be careful when handling the movie. Don't hold the case too hard, or you could very well press too hard and damage the dvd.

We had this as a videotape when my kids were small and it's timeless. We had to get a DVD when my videotape finally wore out.

This film is a great family comedy. Walter Matthau is one of the true comedy icons, and he makes a perfect Mr. Wilson. He plays it
just right. Wilson isn`t a mean old man. He`s actually a pretty decent guy. He`s just not very good with kids. And the character of
Dennis really is a holy terror, despite his generally good intentions. This makes him the perfect antagonist for Matthau`s character.
This makes for some excellent comedy in the first part of the film, but the action really starts when Dennis runs afoul of a bum
who is burglerizing the town.
The bum learns the hard way that no matter how nice of a kid Dennis is, he is a disaster looking for a place to happen. And he is not
too picky about time or place to happen.

I rented this movie for my 7 and 3 year old daughters last weekend and I think I love it more than they do! The boy who plays Dennis is wonderful and Walter Matthau couldn't be funnier! It's one worth watching over and over!

I had not watched this since the '90's so I'd forgotten most of it. Bought it recently for my 3 grandchildren, ages 5 to 10, they loved it, found it to be hilarious, and so did I. Just take a break like I did, view it through the eyes of a child, and sit back and laugh.

Love this movie. Great movie, lot of laughs. Bought this movie for my nephew he loves it. Looking forward to the next movie I purchase.

Watching this movie takes me back to my kid years. My friend, whom I grew up with, and I would watch this movie together a lot. I bought this movie on dvd a few weeks ago and watched it for the first time today. I enjoyed watching the special features. They talked about finding the perfect Dennis. I think they made the right choice. Walter is a perfect Dennis. He is a total crack up and cutie. His looks haven't changed much. He still looks like a cute boy. There's also a game for your child or your self to play on the special features. This is a great movie. If you have kids or not you must buy it.
