Immersive Sound, Wherever You Are
The Globe Cruiser On-Ear Wireless Headphones are are designed with subtle noise cancellation circuitry that blocks external noise when you travel while allowing you to hear announcements from the flight crew. Featuring a 40-millimeter driver, a built-in amplifier, aptX audio codecs, and AAC decoding, they deliver CD-quality audio over a Bluetooth 3.0 wireless connection. An optional audio cable is included for when Bluetooth wireless listening is not allowed (for example, in flight). Also included is a two-pronged airline adapter, which works with the headphone jack in most airline seats, so you can enjoy the Globe Cruiser's sound quality with the in-flight movie.
Thanks to their Bluetooth 3.0 wireless connectivity and integrated controls and microphones, the Globe Cruiser On-Ear Wireless Headphones facilitate peaceful and productive travel. Denon's patent-pending integrated control wheel and microphone, built into the ear cup, allow you to easily control your iPod, iPhone, iPad, or Android smartphone wirelessly. Transitions are easy between music, phone calls, and voice-controlled applications.
The headphones fold flat into a case that's about the size of an iPad (case included). The ear pads twist off for easy storage in the case, but you can leave them attached and use the expansion zipper on the case to make it a little thicker. An audio cable is included to allow for a wired connection when you need it.
These headphones offer the wireless convenience of Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to listen to music without worrying about the tangle of a headphone cable. For the best performance, you should avoid keeping your smartphone in your pocket while using your headphones, as Bluetooth connectivity can be weakened when your smartphone's battery is low or when clothing or the human body blocks the signal. Wearing your smartphone in an armband can ensure better reception and make accessing controls easier.
The headphones remain comfortable to wear over the long haul. They feature Denon's pentagonally-shaped memory-foam ear pads and an adjustable headband--as well as a two-axis cup design that allows 360-degree articulation.
Long-Lasting Rechargeable Battery
The rechargeable battery lets you listen on the move for 10 hours at a time. If the battery runs out, the headphones still work in passive mode (with the cable connected, and without noise cancellation). A micro USB cable is included with the product for easy charging of the headphones from your computer or USB wall outlet.
Travel App Customizes Equalizer and Tracks Flights
The Denon Travel smartphone application for iPhone or Android devices, available for download from the Apple store or Google Play Store, integrates with the headphones to let you customize your equalizer settings. You can also take advantage of EQ presets using its simple drag-and-drop custom EQ functionality.
The app also lets you track your flight status, manage your itinerary, and provides access to up to 70,000 internet radio stations worldwide.
