Excellent Machine,

This mid range (low mid range, right above entry level)cd player is a shiny (not really) musical beast. The highs are sweet, the lows are there, and the sound is generally warm (yes warm!!!, who would of thunk cd player and warm can go together). The DAC and the seperate analog and digital power transformers?(or motor or whatever you would call it) really DO give this machine an on average 60%-80% equalivant analog sound compared to my true mid range record player. All n' All im satisfied BUT i got this machine on clearance (with the matching amplifier for basically buy one get one) and i advise NOT!!! to pay over a g for this but anything 8 or under is a win. My silver ear tells me you can get atleast a 1000 worth of sound if properly hooked up (matching grade components or better), Sooooooooo if you find the right price jump on it.Excuse My Poor Grammer Robert Keith |
