Product Description

Denso's revolutionary twin-tip design is a combination of highly durable precious metals - Platinum and Titanium. The center electrode is created using an extremely durable platinum alloy that allows for the reduction of the tip size to 1.1mm in diameter, while maintaining the life of the plug. The titanium-enhanced alloy on the ground electrode also increases durability, which is critical to minimize tip erosion and achieve the new twin-tip design.

I replaced my six year old NGK's with these Denso 4504's in my 1995 Pathfinder with 142K miles. The owner's manual didn't specify type or brand so these platinum plugs seemed to be a good choice. So far I've noticed quicker starting, better performance, higher fuel efficiency, & great price. Hopefully longevity will be added to the list of attributes.

Spark plug manufacturers do make their plugs to work on a wide range of vehicles but I prefer using Japanese plugs in my Honda & Nissan just like I preferred using Bosch in my BMW & AC Delco in my Pontiac.

I replaced the Denso PK20TR11 plugs in my 98 Camry with these. I wish I knew the mileage the old plugs were installed at, but the gap had opened up on them. Fresh plugs (and NGK wires) definitely made a difference in the throttle response, for the better. It's too soon to speak to any change to fuel economy, but I don't expect it to go down.
One note I didn't find until I'd already installed them: Denso doesn't recommend using any grease or anti-seize on these. The nickel coating is supposed to be slick enough, and they feel that any lubrication increases the chances of overtorquing. I used a torque wrench and took them to 12 ft-lbs, and I didn't break any with a bit of anti-seize on the threads, but next time I'll try to remove the residue and install them dry.
I'm also not sure how long these will last, but I really don't mind getting a visual check of the top end's health more often. The plugs I removed were healthy, so I'm not concerned, but I like confirmation.

nissan altima 2.5s ran better from the first run, good by to the old plugs! Replaced exact same plugs, but they were worn out and milage was ok, but response and power were getting bad. Now runs like new again!

Spark plugs shipped quickly and arrived undamaged. Both the 5/8inch, and the 16mm deep socket fit this plug fine. Checked the factory-set gap on all 8 plugs, which measured a consistent .036 to .038 ". This was within spec. for my vehicle.
After installing, my truck does start a little more quickly and run smoother, especially at idle. The old plugs that I had removed had worn out to a .050 gap..!

My old plugs looked great with 150k miles.. Seemed like a waste to put in these new ones but had them so why not use them.. I actually picked up over3 mpg on highway and did have an increase in town mpg but not certain how much. Great plugs and great buy.
