Pretty good,

It's a little bigger than the baby's tooth brushes. Fits my finger better. There's a rectangular square on the finger tip where the bristles go. This makes it stand up a little more. The up-shot is that the bristles probably will stay attached better. The down-side is that I lose a little bit of dexterity and can't feel the teeth as well. My dog is a 20lb beagle and this is about as big as I can go with her. Probably not a good brush for smaller breeds.

I was using a tooth brush to brush her teeth and she was not too fond of it so I started just using my finger. Then I saw this little item, and "voila", she likes it and so do I and it does a better job than my finger.

Hard to reach back teeth,

I bought this to use on my 13-lb dog. He tolerates it as well as can be expected, but I can't reach far back into his mouth with it (and those are the teeth that are most important to brush). It doesn't allow for the necessary dexterity, as a previous reviewer said. I have much better luck either wrapping my finger in cotton gauze (a vet's recommendation), or even using a regular toothbrush.
