I've been buying this now for over 2 years for my Shih Tzus and let me tell you it is the greatest. Leaves a nice mint smell unlike the other flavors and my dogs will not fight to get their teeth brushed. I tried once the beef flavor and they refused it. Don't know why anyone would want their dogs breathe to smell like poultry or beef. I rather have the nice mint smell.

Our little beagle mix is a friendly animal, but her breath smells like death. We've been brushing her teeth for a while with chicken toothpaste--which, oddly enough, killed the bad breath--but is still not a pleasant smell. I was worried my dog wouldn't like the mint flavor, but she took to it really well. The minty smell is really pleasant--and it's safe enough that she can "sample" it--otherwise it is just like people toothpaste. For three bucks you can definitely try it on your dog! (and if your dog doesn't like it, I won't tell if you use it yourself...)

I used the Denta Clean Fresh Mint Gel for the first time, I also use the Tartar Control Mint. I alternate days. Excellent product, Made in the USA. Dog loves it.

Loves It.
Bought this for my dog. He loves it. Its really hard to find the mint toothpaste in the stores and he is not as fond of the meat flavored toothpastes. Great product.
