I found this book to be brilliantly illustrated and written. Short the the point functions and great photos. Exceeded my expectations. Just as advertised - great flash card format and compact. Great study tool.

This is very helpfull little book, fits in a pocket of my scrub, very handy.
Let's say it's the best assistance for dental assistant!

I got this guide in a pack of books (Modern Dental Assisting 8th edition) It was the hard cover, workbook, and flip guide. This pack is amazing!!!!

Well worth purchasing the flip guide on its own..... A must have for studying..

This spiral-bound text contains some of the most often-used dental instruments, brilliantly illustrated and explained clearly. It's an effective tool in understanding their uses and design. Since there is such a dizzying array of instruments, a guide like this is invaluable.

If you are new to the business of dentistry, a student of dental assisting or even a dental office this book is for you.

I like it a lot since the booklet is comprehensive and easy to use. Pros - everything you want to know is here - Cons - paper quality is not the best - so have to be careful while using.

Handy book. Helps me review. Very Complete. Highly recommend to everybody going into dental assistant classes. Great study guide for me to bring wherever I go so I can get a quick review. Also good before tests.

I am a DATS instructor. This is an excellent book for my students. I have had the other editions of the book. This edition has nicer photos and seems to be more well rounded as far as going through the procedures.

I was happy to get this book because I would not have know about the evolve website otherwise. I am happy they finally have a link with the instrument book. It is good my students have all of the study materials to help them out long before they get to the office.

I believe this and the website will afford them the opportunity to excel in the dental office.

I received my book very quick and it was in mint condition. It looks to have every instument a dental assistant needs and it was affordable...

Great flip style book for studying dental instruments. A must for any dental student and fast shipping a major plus!

The pictures were good but not a lot of close ups. Pretty basic information, same as textbook information.
