As far as colognes go, you either have wimpy or over the top. Phoenix is a nice balance - it's pleasant but inviting. If you want the out-front musk flavor, Essence is a great choice. But for less intimate occasions (when you don't want to knock someone over in the street), Phoenix is perfect for smelling great without making too big a statement. And it actually does a pretty good job as a real-deal deodorant, not just as a masking scent. Spray some on the hot spots, and it will activate when needed. Definitely the best spray I've found for more everyday occasions.

My experience with Axe is good, but Touch is my favorite. My only objection is that It's too strong and when used in a closed space, the smell can overpower you. OTherwise, It's the best.

Well, first of all this is the 2nd AXE bodysprays i used(I used Essence before and loved it), but i gotta say it, this one smells great. I love using the bodyspray & deodorant. It gets rid of odors and it makes your body smell great. I work in the city and i take the train to work. Sometimes it gets really hot & humid inside the subway. So when i sweat a lil bit i can smell the goodness of the AXE bodyspray, i don't know if this happens to some of you guys. By using AXE you can feel comfortable knowing that you won't be embarrass by any bad odor, also the ladies love it when a guy smell good. In conclusion, i give this product 5***** stars. AXE is an excellent product for men. In the future AXE should make other products for men such as soap, aftershave, shampoo, etc...."AXE, Is All A Man Needs", slogan made by me, hehe.

Why? Why must they always discontinue the quality products? Voodoo was the best version of the Axe deodorants. Most people I know also like the way it smells.

Bring this one back Axe!

I picked this one up today in fact and had to comment on it, I was expecting it to last maybe 3 to 4 hours but i just checked my shirt from class this afternoon and it is still present for the most part,after 9hours! As for just suddenly attracting chicks, this wont magically have chicks clawing you but it will help with your scent issues. By the way, these contain hydroflurocarbons (HFC's) which deplete the ozone at a rate about half of CFC's, so try not to run through too many cans each year:)

In my opinion, Phoenix is the 2nd best scent, Essence being the best. As a previous reviewer said, this isn't quite as overpowering as Essence. I've also noticed that when you use both of the aforementioned scents together, it is surprisingly very good.

I have used Adidas and some other brands like Bod and Old Spice. But when it comes to body sprays, I found Axe to be the best with the desired results. It kept my body cool and its rather strong scent, instead of being offending, is stimulating.
It doesn't give one that heady feeling that other colognes and sprays might generate. On the contrary, it makes your body smell young and energetic. Does the opposite sex find it arousing? I don't know but I do know that they like it.

I picked up my first AXE deodorant mainly out of curiosity from the old tv commercials, and it turned out to be a really good buy. It works all day and into the next, which i cant say about many deodorants/anti persirants (Adidas makes some good stuff) the scents are great too, i favor Phoenix, Essence and Vodoo... the rest dont really appeal to me.

Why did they discontinue this? I will not slander this company...but I am truly disappointed. Most other body sprays smell of flowery homosexuality, but not this one. Looks like I will have to go elsewhere...
