From the plains of Canaan a dark and savage force marches toward Israel. A barbaric horde that leaves in its wake only death and destruction. To the Israelites, the Philistines bring tyranny, debauchery, and desecration, pillaging and seizing the sacred Ark of the Covenant. In a time of sacrilege and slavery, one man stands with the the one king powerful enough to forge an army out of the divided tribes of Israel. That man is named Eri and he bears upon his back the mark of the Lion. The king is called Saul. Devout and defiant, together they face the Philistine horde in the field, vowing to deliver their people.
