A lack of line breaks makes this nearly unreadable unless one is already very familiar with the work. The free Kindle version should be withdrawn until this flaw is fixed.

Unfortunately all lines run together making the poetry unreadable. This is one of the Kindle's many freebie failures. Avoid the free version.

Probably shouldn't be to hard in judging a free book, BUT...As a retired English teacher, I find it difficult to enjoy poetry when the line breaks are removed. Other than that, at least the words are there...

For any history buff or military man, Kipling has got to be one of their favorite poets/ writers. Especially in today's world with wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Kipling had a unique experience in that he was in that area of the world 100+ years ago, and though the military forces have changed, the verses he wrote about war and soldiers ring true today.
