I was blown away with Jesse McCartney's vocal maturity when Departure was released and I am probably one of the few that decided to purchase the album after listening to the leaked songs on youtube. I have great love for his ballads that showcase his powerful voice and really look forward to his future releases.
My favorites are 'Told You So', 'Not Your Enemy', 'It's Over' but I love them all and have not stopped listening to this album in the year since it's release....but with the re-release I am now totally addicted to the 4 newer songs. (I purchased the new one also.) I really like 'Oxygen' and 'Body Language', but 'Crash & Burn' is now stuck in my head (I want the ringtone!). I also wasn't sure about 'In My Veins', but it has really grown on me in the last few days. Since I'm old enough to be his mother, some of the lyrics aren't what I would use, but the production and beats are so infectious I can accept them as the product of youthful expression today.
I am also not a fan of hip/hop or rap, but can get into the Jesse/Ludacris remix of 'How Do You Sleep?', however, I prefer the rhythmic version (check out at [...] - Jan 8 news entry).
Jesse has such tremendous vocal talent and I am addicted to his voice. With 'Departure: Recharged' his growth since the original release is very apparent and I only wish him much success.
I believe he has a very bright future ahead of him and hope that more people will set aside their 'pre-conceived' image of him and give him a listen. This CD is well worth it! Keep up the good work, Jesse.

I'm in love with Jesse and his music is great. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this CD. I didn't expect to love it as much as I do. I would recommend this CD to any and everyone.

love the new tracks, they're bangin'! Hopefully they will get more exposure, they're so good.

Jesse McCartney's "Departure" was great before, but now it's even better!
"Departure:Recharged" has 4 new tracks that really show Jesse has matured over the last year. A MUST HAVE ALBUM!

I was familar with Beautiful Soul and thought it was a nice song but was not inspired to really purchase any of his music. Then I saw a remake that he has done of Buy you a Drank and loved it and saw this re-release and I haven't been able to stop listening to it since I bought it a few days ago. This is a great mix of pop and R&B and he has a great voice. I am looking forward to more great work from him in the future.

A more mature version of the dream street youngster the cd has many great songs overall some misses, but overall fun tracks.

I love this album! There are a few tracks that I didn't like at first, but now I at least like if not absolutely love every song on this album. Crash and Burn, Body Language, How Do You Sleep and Leavin' are my favorites.
Listen to the samples and you get a pretty good idea of the songs, and you'll probably like them even more after you listen to them completely. I personally like to clean house to this - but then I have to stop and dance sometimes, too.

Oh my gosh, I bought this cd for my daughter and I fell in love with Jesse. He has a wonderful voice and cute as ever. My favorite song is "Body Language." Please check it out. This album is awesome!

I always thought Jesse McCartney was a good pop singer, and enjoyed his music. I listen to all types of music from classical to heavy metal but pop and r&b are my favorite. Listening to this CD was the best of both genres which for me was a real treat!!! My favorite song is "In My Veins".Very sexy!!!!Check it out if you haven't already!!!

I purchased "Departure" and love it so when "Departure:Recharged" was released I had to get it and I love it. Shows Jesse's growth as an artist. The extra tracks are just as awesome as all of the original tracks. Rockin' cd. Jimmy
