With the direction of Hospice I was the caregiver for my wife as she died of CA of the upper esophagus cause by smoking. She became fed thru a tube in her belly and totally incontinet. These super depends were much better at containing her waste than any available at the local drug stores and even at my hospitals supply room. I located them first at Kimberly Clark and then found Amazon carried them. They have inside the pads an extra "Dike" that prevents overflow better than anything else I tried. The hospice RN did not know they were even manufactured. Yea for the internet! Great product for terminal care.

I know this is going to probabbly going to make me sound like I'm strange because Depends Protective Underwear is susposed to be used for adults who have bladder accidents but I actually HAVE to use them when I have my menstral cycle. One of the companies that makes menstral pads and tampons used to make a very good protective under panty for girls who get very heavy mentral cycles and they were smaller and a lot less bulky and alot more fitted then Depends but unfortunately because of the vanity of alot of women they didn't sell because most women were too embarassed to use them so they stopped making them and I get a very heavy menstral cycle so someone recommended I try Depends and when I get my cycle I have to wear these Depends undergarments along with menstral pads so I don't wake up in the morning and find that I have totally stained my under panties, pajamas and sheets which is very embarrassing and it also keeps me from getting yelled at for staining my sheets and pajamas. I will continue to keep using these at night during my cycle but I wish someone would make ones that are actually for menstral cycles again. Oh, the curse of having a extremely heavy menstral cycle!!!!! It's a major bummer! Okay, it's embarrassing to have to wear protective under panties at night when I have my menstral cycle but it's way, way way more embarrassing to stain my sheets, PJ's and cotton under panties so that is why I use these Depends! I now will only use the Pull up Ones though and will not use the ones with the tabs. I prefer the smaller Depends too!

I have tried other brands. Always return to using these for my 92 year old mother who is bedbound. Does give the Maximum protection, and is easy to put on an immobile patient.

I recently had a baby, and as most women know, after birth you bleed a lot. The Depends work great. At the hospital, they give you disposable underwear that gets soaked through in a matter of hours, leaving you uncomfortable and wet. The Depends keep everything in, saving your sheets and your clothes. They're high in the back, so when you lie down you can still feel secure knowing you won't leak. They're very easy to put on and take off, too. I would recommend Depends for anyone who needs that extra security.

I buy the Maximum Protection Depends for my mother. She takes Lasix and needs the extra protection. This product is much more effective than any other adult diaper we've found, including other Depends. It's hard to find the S/M size of the Maximum Protection in the stores.

Here at Amazon the S/M size is more expensive than the Large size. The Large size is also on auto delivery, but the S/M isn't. I wonder why there is a difference? My hope is that Amazon will change this to make the S/M the same price as the Large, and to put it on auto delivery.

UPDATE 01/22/2011: Drugstore.com has the S/M on subsciption, so I'll be ordering from them. But I wish Amazon had it on Subscribe & Save, as unlike Drugstore, the shipping is free and subscriptions are discounted. Still, the current price for the S/M size is cheaper at Drugstore.com, even with having to pay for shipping.

This product is very ""dependable"". The overnight protection is great. They didn't leak and were reliable for overnight protection. I like the tabs for easy opening and closing. I would recommend these to anyone.

My experience with the Depends was quite pleasant. I didn't have to worry about getting up in the middle of the night or messing up the sheets. I was comfortable. It was almost as if I wasn't wearing them. In addition, it felt natural. Last, but not least, I slept like a baby.

Good product for those with bladder control problems or dysfunctional voiding. Good absorbency, easy to remove for changing.

I'm very pleased with how the product is packaged, and how it looks. I feel this is very important when making a product such as this. A person's mental well being should always be thought of. I gave this product to my grandfather to use. He usually gets his bladder control products from a mail-order business, and he was VERY impressed with Depends. He said they were comfortable and absorbent.

I had a bedridden relative use this product. These Depends do their job. Leakage was not an issue, and they fit well. I didn't encounter any difficulties in using this product, and I would certainly recommend these to anyone needing adult diapers.
