About the Author

Todd M. Johnson has practiced as an attorney for over 30 years, specializing as a trial lawyer. A graduate of Princeton University and the University of Minnesota Law School, he also taught for two years as adjunct professor of International Law and served as a US diplomat in Hong Kong. The new book by first-time author Todd Johnson is an awesome legal thriller. An added plus is that it has a great plot and is a clean read. It is so difficult to find interesting novels that are well-written and a clean read. I sure hope Mr. Johnson plans on writing a new book about the new case 'Clay' calls about at the end of this book!

As an avid reader, I'm always looking for new authors that I enjoy reading. I will be looking for more books by this author! The main character finds a deposit slip for $10 million in her father's safe deposit box after his death. With a mixture of suspense, relationship complexities and interesting characters, the book kept me involved until the very end.

There are many writers that attempt to create good mystery novels. Some are successful and some are not.
Author Todd M. Johnson has created a mystery masterpiece.
He weaves a tale of suspense and intrigue that is set in small town Minnesota. The chain of events reaches well beyond those boundaries and captures your attention from the opening chapter.
The Deposit Slip races non-stop from beginning to end through the legal profession, courts and criminal elements.
Not everyone plays by the rules as Jared Neaton and Erin Larson learn. Where is the Ten Million Dollars? That question will be answered as the clues are delivered in a timely manner by the writer.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading "The Deposit Slip" and look forward to future books by Author Todd M. Johnson.
