Book Description

The cure for depression is found in the symptoms that are displayed. Symptoms are a body's immune response to emotional damage.

The body has a method to heal emotional injury and this includes Weeping, Sex Issues, Recurrent Dreams, Rage, Isolation, Fatigue, Confusion, Addictions, Appetite Changes and Dark Thoughts/Suicide.

This book was written for the most difficult of depression sufferers - for the injured. Soldiers blasted to pieces in combat. Children crushed in bicycle accidents. People taking bone shattering falls. Victims mugged and shot. Diabetes taking a limb. Lupus taking everything.

None of these things will ever "be okay". They won't just "work themselves out." And the injured are not just magically, "going to be all right."

This work is a giant leap forward using the foundation of Carl Jung's theories. This self-help book greatly expands to cover ALL the symptoms of depression: Weeping, Sex Issues, Recurrent Dreams, Rage, Isolation, Fatigue, Confusion, Addictions, Appetite Changes and Dark Thoughts/Suicide.

Depression will not rule you. You will rule depression.

The reality is that the symptoms of depression are a normal and NECESSARY part of human behavior. We all need to weep, we all need to be isolated from time to time, we all have rage and other symptoms of depression. Fearing sorrow is not a healthy mindset, as it puts the emotion of depression over the identity of the person. A correct and healthy approach is to be in harmony with your depression.

Depression is VERY useful and not to be feared. Many good things come out of depression - the most obvious being a serious consideration of the realities of living. We are more thoughtful, analytical and cautious during depression. This is depression's job!

However, by running away from the symptoms, we are failing to ever settle the voice of depression. Those symptoms become like ghosts forever whispering in our hearts. When a person learns the tricks found in this book to listen to the symptoms they can lay those ghosts to rest.

This work, Decoding Depression Symptoms is a pioneering solution of the overlooked obvious. You can totally harmonize your depression and rule it by using the information in this self-help book.

I truly am very sorry you are depressed. I wish it had never happened to you.

Much love.

Much peace.

Much joy and healing to you.

Stephen Paul West

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Read. September 7, 2012

I love this book. I was injured in a car accident a year ago, and definitely have the depression from my injuries. This book does an amazing job of describing why you are feeling what you are feeling. I found a few typos in the book, but the content more than made up for it! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is suffering from depression after an injury!

5.0 out of 5 stars I found this very insightful. April 6, 2012

This book really is a wonderful expansion of Carl Jung, but to include many of the modern identifiers of depression.

It is true that the medical community used tears, appetite, rage, addictions, etc as markers that a person is depressed. But this book opened my eyes to the fact that the medical community never tells a person why they have a particular subset of depression symptoms.

If you read Depression Symptoms Decoded closely it will expand your mind and truly challenge you to reconsider how your body chooses to process the pain of depression. You will be enlightened I am certain of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Puzzle Solver's Dream to Being Happy. April 4, 2012

I am really a positive person - most of the time. My husband, however, is Border Line Personality. This is hard for me, him and the entire family.

Sometimes I do get depressed when things are not so good. Especially, if my husband just isn't okay. This makes everything tough.

Well, this book was soooo insightful to me. It taught me what MY various symptoms of depression were trying to tell me. I had just always plowed through my dark feelings - but here was a book that taught me how to use my symptoms to full advantage to get over depression fast. My heart needed this book. Thanks so much!

MaelStrom To London

"Kwenda, Women Slaves of War" tells the true story of motherhood caught in the cruelty of modern warfare. This story paints a story that will touch you to the core, and you will both weep and cheer.

"Depression Symptoms Decoded" is a deep analysis of depression symptoms with a Jungian view of each symptom demonstrated: weeping, sex issues, rage, eating disorders, isolation, fatigue, confusion addiction, recurrent dreams and dark thoughts. The pioneering self-help book on depression delves deeply into the meaning of each symptom of depression as a pattern for emotional need. By decoding your type of depression symptoms you can identify a means of overcoming depression.

"Rise of the Maiden - Blood and Venom" is a new twist on the paranormal. Emily Black is a compelling and strong female character who exemplifies a Byronic role. She is every bit as intelligent, smart and dangerous as role reserved for traditionally male leading characters. The darkness of this thriller include haunting of a mother's ghost, and the insanity of a kidnapper who practices vampire occultism. This is combined with the unusual aspect of drug addiction as found in Victorian London.

The visual artwork of Stephen Paul West integrates a modern scope of artistic expression with an earthy and positive view of the world around us.
