If you were at a film festival and took a chance on a movie about people with feelings, this is the movie you would hope to see. Very real, slice of life characters and situations you can relate to and make you think "Life is really funny like that". As usual for Couto the filming and editing are professional quality. The acting is very good and the actors and actresses are fun to look at. I could have went to go see the new Ben Asslick Hollywood hokum movie but I'm glad I came here to see the future stars of tomorrow! This is art!! Highly recommended!

From being unable, or unwilling, to recognize a good thing when it's standing in front of you, too wanting something you can't have, writer/director Henrique Couto offers up situations we can all find ourselves relating with. Likeable actors, excellent music and great cinematography round out this charming indie film. Very highly recommended!

Depression: The Movie allows viewers to take a look into the lives of multiple characters going through very real, and tough, situations. There are some parts that make you laugh but also has some that tug at your heart strings a bit. Couto tried something a bit different with this one, and, I must say, mastered it. You won't be disappointed if checking out this movie! Can't wait to see what these actors as well as Couto come up with next! Highly recommended! What are you waiting for?!
