Book Description

Clason Westerns March 2004
WESTERN / MYSTERY / LAW ENFORCEMENT. Being accused of the double murder did not settle well with cowboy Clay Strong. Although he and his Indian partner rode into Dakota Territory to find gold, he soon found himself replacing the murdered deputy to help track down a ruthless serial killer. His efforts, however, were constantly being disrupted with suspicion, vigilantes, and prejudice as the Devil's Eye looked on . . .

Editorial Reviews

About the Author

Dick Clason, an avid fan of cowboys and horses since he was twelve years old in the Black Hills of South Dakota, served in the Navy before becoming a Beverly Hills Police Officer in 1956. He completed his law enforcement career as Officer-in-Charge of the Criminalistics Laboratory and a handwriting/fingerprinting consultant.

With his wife Lillian, he moved to Spokane, Washington, closer to where their family lives and where he now does his writing. Zane Gray and Louis L'Amour are among Clason's favorite cowboy reading.

Included with this book are other Clason Westerns titled "The Kid from Custer" and "The Ranger and the Green Derby." Into all his cowboy stories, the author weaves history, law, and romance for a good read.
