Finally a superb autobiography by Derek Bell, one of the true heroes of international sports car racing in the glory days of motorsport. The book is wonderfully illustrated with a text that shows the best racers had far less to do with luck than preparation, attitude and skill. Bell amazingly survived forty some years of professional racing with only a slight burn under his left eye.

This updated book on a legend of racing should not be missed.Includes lots of photos that span his epic career(it's almost a photo autobiography).I've had the pleasure to meet Mr. Bell a few times, truly a pleasant and gracious man and this book does justice to him and his racing life.
