UNBELIEVABLE RESULTS!,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have suffered with psoriasis for 14 years, using numerous "remedies," including Dovonex, Clobetasol, and the $450.00 Taclonex; all with poor results. After using the compounded DERMAZINC/CLOBETASOL for only three weeks, my scalp, knees and elbows are clear! I now use the non-compounded DERMAZINC sprary for scalp, and ointment for body as a follow up. This is an amazing remedy and the price is unbelievable. My hat is off to the DERMALOGIX people.

High alcohol content exacerbates dry skin,

This review is from: DermaZinc - Zinc Therapy Spray/Drops - 4 oz (Health and Beauty)
Although most products that contain Zinc Pyrithione are expensive, this product only contains (0.25%) and therefore seems overpriced.
Since it is something that you leave on the skin, it is understandable that it only has a fraction of the soaps or shampoos that you rinse off. The good soaps contain 2% Zinc Pyrithione. But the real reason I am giving this product one star is that the main ingredient is rubbing alcohol. Not only can this be painful for inflamed skin, it can also cause further drying of the skin and can be especially during the winter months in cold climates.

This is quite effective, but it burns for a few minutes and leaves the skin extremely dry.
