I love this product. I can't use strixaderm as the scent of it makes my allergies go crazy. This product doesn't have that affect but keeps the wrinkles at bay.

Not a perfect substitute,

I had hoped this would be the same as Strixaderm which priced itself out of my desire to pay. It is good for my hands, but it made my face break out. I do have very sensitive skin, but, on the other hand, at over 65 years of age, I seldom break out. So, be aware it is not a perfect substitute.

saved me a doctor visit,
This review is from: Dermafine-MD-Micro Active Stretch Mark Remover, 6oz (Misc.)
I bought a tube of Strixaderm-MD years ago hoping it would reduce the "tree rings" around my neck, so when it didn't matter after Month's of trying, I shelved the stuff figuring it's just a very concentrated low moisture skin cream, that's all - nothing special, right? Then recently I developed a square inch red Rosacea like patch on my cheek, and tried various creams to sooth and calm it so the skin would return to a uniform color. I used Aloe for months and didn't rub the spot yet it remained red. So then I dug up this tube and tried it figuring at least it would cover the red, like a women's concealer. Yet to my amazement within about 2 weeks of using this, the redness was completely gone! I will continue to use a tiny dab of this cream once a day on this spot, and am glad this Dermafine equivalent product is still being marketed. One day when I can afford to, I'll ask a dermatologist exactly which active ingredient he thinks it doing the trick for me - but for now all I know is that is works - and that coming from a skeptic about ALL these age defying products.
