Itch relief, but it doesn't soothe eczema,
By livesmall "livesmall" (Chicago,IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dermarest Eczema Medicated Moisturizer 2 Oz (Health and Beauty)
This cream does provide itch relief, I most certainly will not argue with that. Bug bites and other itchy skin conditions I find this anti itch cream to be the best. It's just not good for eczema. With eczema you have dry and cracked skin. This cream does not apply to those symptoms. It does not soothe or heal eczema. It can even cause the feeling of drying out the affected area, causing for intense pain. I wrote a review after trying different over the counter creams and the best one in my experience is the Aveeno Eczema Therapy cream, hands down. Try not to waste your money like I did. Aveeno's cream heals eczema. I have been using Dermarest on bug bites and other itchy knacks and this cream does work great to get rid of the itch. Not for Eczema though.

This product is truly the best itch relief for sensitive skin. I believe I have tried most of these kinds of products on the market. This is truly the best one.

As a long time sufferer of Ezcema,I tried this product in hopes that it would be different from the dozens of others I have tried. It is not. If anything it turns the progress of the disorder into scaliness much faster but does nothing for the itchiness or the cessation of new occurences.
