Really zaps those cold sores, August 30, 2007
This little baby was expensive, but completely worth it. Used as directed (or even less often than directed, because I forget to do it), it clears up even the nastiest cold sores in just a few days. Amazing.

It SEEMS to work, June 27, 2010
This review is from: Dermaseptic Skin Care Remedy for Cold Sores, Warts, Herpes, & Fever Blisters (Health and Beauty)
When I started a new job, I began traveling a lot and seemed to get a cold sore every time I hit the road. Guess it was due to the stresses of traveling. I saw this in the in flight magazines every time I flew and decided to give it a try. Nothing worse than showing up at a business meeting with a big cold sore on the bottom lip!
After six months, I THINK that it works. Since I started using it, I have gotten far fewer cold sores and they are far less severe. I don't really know if it's the DermaSeptic because I still use the ice cube trick, Abreava, and Campho-Phenique.
Regarding the conducting gel that comes with this, I found that alcohol hand cleaning gel works just as well and I like the idea of it being an antiseptic. Also, the Campho-Phenique gel works, too, although I only use it on the part that touches my lip. On the side of the device, I use the cheaper hand cleaning gel.
So, I am pretty sure that it's helping keep these cold sores at bay.

OH HELL YEAH!, June 13, 2011
This review is from: Dermaseptic Skin Care Remedy for Cold Sores, Warts, Herpes, & Fever Blisters (Health and Beauty)
I bought this product about 3.5 months ago, just after I had experienced a lengthy, unwelcome cold sore on my upper lip...I said to myself, "next time I feel the tingle, I am going to be as prepared as possible". Again, I was okay with never getting a cold sore and if I didn't need to try DermaSeptic, I'd live! However, this past Saturday morning, I woke up and felt the tingle on my upper lip...so I ran out to my car, grabbed this little device from the glove compartment and went to work...2 treatments throughout the day, the tingle had disappeared and any sorts of puffiness and breaks in the skin ceased to exist...my goodness, this thing is like having "sharks with fricking laser beams on their heads"...simply awesome!
I would recommend keeping this item with you at all times...whether it be in the car, or in a bag you constantly use; I really feel that for the best results, you have to attack the cold sore in it's infancy stage. I would highly recommend one, regardless the price!
