It actually works,
This review is from: Dermatend the Original Mole, Wart & Skin Tag Remover Natural At Home Removal System. Removing Moles, Warts & Skin Tags Has Never Been Easier. (Misc.)
I give it 5 stars just for the simple fact that it does what it claims. If you use this as directed, you'll be very suprised. It's a little messy, I had to do 2 applications, took about a day and a half til I could go 'bandaid-less' without the paste. 1 actually came off yesterday (started the whole process 4 days ago) and the others definitely look like they are going to soon. It is a little painful & itchy (not to mention gross) but nothing awful. Those small round bandaids are perfect for this. I'll update this once they start to heal (the one that came off kind of looks like a little burn wound right now) and maybe I'll have during/after photos then. Also, it didn't really affect the healthy skin around it very much, and I know I wasn't very careful about applying it. Overall, it's worth the money. Careful about putting this in a place where others can see, it'll take a bit to heal and it turns the spot BLACK until it falls off. Wanted to also say the customer service is GREAT, the guy was super quick to reply to my emails and very nice/professional. I'll update in a few weeks!
update 3/27: All gone but a few holes/divots are left behind, not healed yet though and still red. Using neosporin and bandaids 24/7. update 4/6: Divots have filled in, looking SO much better, just a bit red and discolored. Just started using prefer on scar treatment. update 5/26: about half of the moles are starting to grow back (although smaller and flat). others are scars that lighten every week but still quite noticeable. will reapply to the ones reappearing. update a year and half later: reapplied and they are ALL gone still, and the scars have almost vanished, just a teeny touch lighter than the surrounding skin, but certainly not noticeable.

This review is from: Dermatend the Original Mole, Wart & Skin Tag Remover Natural At Home Removal System. Removing Moles, Warts & Skin Tags Has Never Been Easier. (Misc.)
I have some skin tags on my neck and some small moles on my face that have been popping up periodically over the years. They came from sun damage and aging. They have always bothered me because I didn't acquire them until my thirties.
I could have them removed by either laser treatment which is highly exhorbitant with no guaranty they won't scar or come back. Or I could do the freezing or cutting off at a doctors office which is very painful and they usually come back. I first heard about Dermatend and other similar products from doctors years ago. A doctor I worked for applied it to a mole on my face. It'worked - it fell off in 4-5 days and it's never come back but it was a long time ago aND I don't live or work near them now so I did some research online and found the dermatend. It's safe and when used properly very effective - no scarring. I've seen a few bad reviews here from others stating that it didn't work or they could do it on their own just as well - but I didn't see them explain how they used the product. I think it's real important to follow the instructions from the packaging which can be a bit vague but if you watch the online video you will be fine. you only need a tiny little bit for it to work. The package said I could remove 2-3 moles or skin tags with the amount I purchased but I've already removed 5-6 and I still have half left. So use it sparingly - this will help you get it directly on the mole or skin tag instead of the surrounding area too. The key is be as precise as possible. Use sparingly, especially the first time, keep a steady hand when applying, & use a healing salve afterwards! Be sure to have a steady hand and let it dry before putting any bandage on it. If you put the bandage on too quickly you will smear the medication on the surrounding area which could cause some slight scarring so make sure the medicine has dried first. And also, make sure you put vaseline on the skin surrounding the mole BEFORE you start so that it protects it from the medicine. If you use my tips here there will be no scarring - but I also use really good facial products too - I've been using these products for years that have strong healing properties. So make sure you have a good skin healer and use it. I use Skin Biology products which are copper peptide protiens that heal and rebuild skin cells. It actually heals scars! They're made by the doctor who discovered copper peptides. You can just google Dr.Loren Pritchard or copper peptides and you'll find his site. All in all Dermatend does work extremely well and for the price you pay you can't beat the cost - its at least 10 times cheaper than a doctors office visit & procedure.

review on 9 moles,
This review is from: Dermatend the Original Mole, Wart & Skin Tag Remover Natural At Home Removal System. Removing Moles, Warts & Skin Tags Has Never Been Easier. (Misc.)
I have been meaning to put up a review for a week now but haven't had a chance to. Sorry this is a really long post but I wanted to try my best to give you as much information/reviews as possible on my experience.
My background information: I am mid 20's, hyper pigmented and my entire family suffers from many flat black moles on our body. They don't look bad to be honest, but I was particularly worried because in the last year my moles on my face had started to grow in size, and new ones were appearing. I looked like a constellation. I was planning on having these surgically removed but I couldn't afford it yet. My mother this February '11 went to India and had 2 of her facial moles removed. They were quite big, the size of a pencil eraser and 3 dimensional as well, she has had them for many many years. The moles in India were removed by a dermatologist by putting some sort of abrasive paste on the moles, they fell off within a week, but she was left with DARK marks in that place which didn't look much better. The doctor said the moles would get lighter within a few weeks, it's been 7 months and they are the same. Seeing her expensive results made me worry that going to a doctor was not the answer. I googled mole removal and heard about Dermatend. The reviews seemed too good to be true and I was VERY skeptical. I saw there was a money back guarantee but even then I was worried there would be a lot of loopholes. I emailed the company for some more feedback but I didn't get a response which made me more skeptical. To be honest I became desperate with these moles, and decided to go ahead and order anyways. I ordered the 2 bottles and healing balm off their website for $100. I can't vouch for how fast the items came because there was a postal strike in my country around that time, so the package came in two months. The bottles were very small, the size of a mini toothpaste you can find for travelling, maybe even smaller. I was worried they wouldn't cover my moles. The healing balm was also small. I also got two toothpicks and a tiny emery board to scrape off the products. I figured these would leave awkward scars for a bit so I was waiting for a week that I was home to try out the product, ie had no company to see, etc. I tried the product on July 10th for the first time. I put the product on my tiny black flat mole which was located near my side burn. The mole is very small, literally like the size of a comma, and I chose this one to try because it was so small and in a hidden spot on my face that I could risk if it didn't turn out so good. My mother went ahead and put it on the two moles the doctor had removed, they were no longer 3-d but they were still there just a lot darker and flatter. In all I tried this on 9 moles. I will give you my results for each of them below. Here is how we did it: (wash your face first, remove make up, tie your hair back) Note: you are supposed to massage the bottle as per instructions to mix the mixture with air in the bottle so it's a nice consistency. I tried to do this fast and it ended up bursting the bottle and the goo spilled out everywhere. We had to clean it up quickly otherwise it stains quite fast. So we called the company up and they sent a replacement bottle asap. Luckily we had another bottle to work with still. So we lightly lightly massaged the bottle and shook it (while the lid was on ) to try to mix it up, this worked. 1. Take a toothpick and scratch at the mole. Use an emery board and go over this. I found it best to go around the outline of the mole and then go in circles within it. Don't be afraid to let it hurt, you want to ensure that it's penetrating the skin. 2. We took a hot towel and held it on the mole for a minute, and after let it air dry. 3. take a qtip and dip it in vaseline and go around the mole, DON'T go on the mole, but around it to ensure the area around the mole is protected. take the clean end of a qtip and touch the mole to ensure the mole has no vaseline on it from the process you just did. 4. Take a toothpick and put a TINY bit of the medicine onto the toothpick and put it on the mole. This requires a very steady hand, good lighting. Ensure you do not put it on the surrounding skin because otherwise the medicine will end up working on the clean skin as well. Some of my moles were so tiny that I literally needed a tiny tiny drop to do them. If you mess up, wipe it off, reapply vaseline and try again with the medicine. It's okay if the medicine is thick, but ensure it's not on any surrounding skin. If you feel a burning that's a good sign. 5. Once you are done, note the time and wait 30 minutes. I waited 45 minutes for all of mine. After time is up, wipe the medicine off with kleenex. 6. Almost immediately I saw the mole have a bump, or on some of my moles there was a dark brown layer over my moles. The thing is on the moles that I accidently ended up getting the surrounding skin, there was a big brown layer over my surrounding skin too. The best way I can describe this is you step in a puddle and you see the water spill out on the sides a bit, that's how it looked, a mole within a bigger circle of brown. Some moles were unaffected. 7. The moles that seemed unaffected, I repeated the process again 24 hours later. If there was again no result, I did the process again, until finally I got a result. On the moles that seemed to take effect by the medicine, I waited 24 hours and started putting on the healing balm. 8. Once I began this treatment, that area I was very careful not to touch. When I washed my face I used plain soap, I didn't scrub that area, just around it lightly. I didn't put lotion on it, I lightly let it air dry when it was wet from being washed, and I tried to avoid make up for those days. As I saw results with some of my moles, I started doing them on more and more moles. My results... Mole #1: This was the first mole I did on July 10th. It was near my left side burn, very small, like I said the size of a comma. Small, flat, black. It wasn't one I cared to remove but I figured since my hair could easily cover it up if a scar formed, I could afford to experiment with this one first. I got a brown layer immediately after taking off the medicine. I accidentally put too much around my skin and so my skin also had some of the brown layer on it. The brown layer grew overnight, and the mole went from the size of a comma, to the size of a pencil eraser and looked quite ugly. Luckily my long hair could cover it up. I put on the healing balm 3-4 times a day. Within a day or two it became a scab, dark brown and very crusty looking. I was VERY careful not to touch it unless I was putting on the healing balm, I was scared of knocking it off and infecting the process. Less than 2 weeks later the mole came off somehow on it's own, I think I was careless while showering. The result was a LIGHT spot in the place of it. I'm medium brown skin, so the spot was about 2 shades lighter. Not obvious at all. The surrounding skin that had been affected was also light. The mole darkened up one shade darker after a week or so. I continued putting on healing balm 3-4 times a day. I still don't scrub that area when I wash my face because it's still not back to my normal skin color. I am VERY pleased with this result. Mole #2 & 3: I tried these two moles right after mole #1's results. One mole was in the middle of my chin, one in the middle of my forehead.black, flat and getting bigger as the months went by :S It was the reason I ordered this medicine to begin with. The size was the size of a pencil eraser. I was very careful as I put the medicine on but again it did get some of the surrounding skin. I had a scab the next day, and again it was dark brown, crusty, but this time it was quite thick as in almost 3-D. It was embarrassing to go out in public, I did put some cover up on it but it just made it a bit less noticeable. After a week I was washing my face and it accidently fell off. When it fell off it was so natural almost as if it was about to on it's own, as in I didn't disrupt the process. Again this was a spot 2 shades lighter in it's place. This spot was a tiny bit deeper for some reason, as in "it took a tiny tiny chunk" out of my skin. I think it's because this mole was slightly raised compared to mole #1. If I looked at the spot I could see a tiny black speck which shows that my mole actually shrunk up quite a bit. I continue to apply the healing balm 3-4 times a day and the spot is slowly getting smaller, it's beginning to close up and return to my skin color. If someone stands infront of me they can see the lighter spot. It looks much better though since it's not a big black dot on my chin and forehead, however I can barely see it in the mirror and as days go it's getting much better. Mole #4,5,6: These are the current ones I am working on. It is now a month since I have been using the medicine. I started these three moles on Thursday it is now Sunday. They are tiny black flat moles. One is above my left eye brow, one is above my right eyebrow, one is on my left cheek. Both very small, the size of commas, but they have been getting darker and bigger so I was getting paranoid. I put the medicine on Wednesday but I didn't really see a scab the next day, so I repeated it on thursday. I can see a TINY scab forming on top of the moles, luckily no surrounding skin was touched so only the mole is affected. I am frustrated because I am not seeing faster results, there is no crusting or hardening or darkening of these moles yet. I am putting on healing balm 3-4 times a day but if by a week I don't see an improvement I will repeat the medicine again. I know I did scratch them enough because they actually bled a... Read more ›
