Dr. Kerdel is president of the Medical Dermatology Society, an organization that was formed to promote the medical practice of dermatology. He is also Professor of Clinical Dermatology at the University of Miami.

Dr. Jimenez-Acosta is the international editor of the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery, and Chief of Services of Dermatology at the Clinica san Roque, Canary Island, Spain.
