This review is from: A Description of the Cards of the Tarot (Paperback)
This work is regarded by some as a plagiarized version of the Golden Dawn manuscript "Book T". It was reprinted by "Samuel Weiser, Inc." in 1976 & 1988, about whose 66 pages it was said in a review:
"It doesn't work well as a standalone text, but in addition to his Book of Thoth and other materials regarding his deck, it makes an excellent resource: compact and cheap to boot". --Psyche, SpiralNature.com/reviews/book/crowleya.html It's great to see more Crowley in print, but compactness & cheapness are good points! While print editions can be wonderful, it's worth noting that no print edition is as compact nor as cheap as the accurate digital editions legally distributed all about the internet. |
