Some sites identify the browser and block video contents. Others work fine. You can change the useragent field to trick web sites into thinking that you are coming from a desktop.

It is a full web browser which will play many (but not all) videos directly from website. However, the major broadcast networks (specifically those you have listed, and others) have blocked Google TV devices from streaming their videos.
