This book is the second volume of the Flowering Plants of Puerto Rico and Adjacent Islands. The families treated in this volume include families number 46: LEGUMINOSAE to family 61: ANACARDIACEAE. As in the preceding volume, the families are treated in numerical order, and within each family, there is a key to the genera, a generic description and a key to the species in each genus. Each species is decribed, with its geographical distribution within our range and worldwide, and a short note on the Ecology of the species; finally, the vernacular names are given, first in Spanish, and subsequently in English.
