I have 2000+ songs from 300+ albums on my ipod--classic rock to experimental noise to jazz to hip hop, rap, electronic, world, blues, etc. Yet, every time one of Aurelie's "songs" begins playing, no matter what I'm doing, I stop to listen: their gorgeous, unique sounds demand my attention, even though the music never is harsh or blatant. I'm can't think of any other album I've listened to that commands that power. This is an outstanding release, one of my all-time favorite albums--and one on which every cut is worthwhile. Their sophmore effort, if they ever produce one, has an incredibly high expectation peak to top.

Broad sweeping ambient compositions. love ambient music? buy this CD. This has to be one of my favourite CD's!
