As a veteran spring airsofter, i will honestly tell you that this is a great sidearm. The holster is a great component to this airsoft kit. It is a universal holster meaning that it will hold not only the desert eagle , but various .45s, m9s,revolvers, you name it , it holds it. It also snuggly houses 2 magazines. The holster has the desert eagle emblem stitched into it.It is for right handed shooters.
The offically licensed desert eagle airsoft pistol is not to be used as a primary weapon.It is accurate for CQB but not for long ranges.It packs a punch at close range and it looks great. The weapon is a 1:1 scale with a functional safety that doesn't get in the way or randomly activate. It has a working hammer that can be pulled back and shot or you can keep pulling the trigger and it will keep clicking.
It includes 2 magazines that each hold 28 rounds. It is a little hard to remove the magazine just by shaking it but it will loosen up over time.NOTE: There is no locking slide.There is no open ejection port.

This gun is a friggen beast. I used this gun in a match the other day, and from 100ft away with high winds, I broke the skin of a friend (on his arm). There's atleast 200FPS not 175-190, 175-190 is with a .2 gram BB. I love the capacity on the mags, but they take forever to load. They DO hold 28 rounds, but do 24-27. If you do 28, the last BB you put in (being the 28th or first shot), will come out of the mag and prevent the mag from going in all the way. The holster is really nice, does stink outta the box a bit, but the more you use it the more it goes away (or you just get used to the smell and don't notice it). Yes the gun does have an un-adjustable super-mega-ultra hop up as my friend says, so you may have to point it down a little, trial and error, which you really only have to do if your within about I'd say 15-25ft. It's a .44 magnum pistol FYI. If I could change anything about the gun, it'd be: Flat Black Finish, Open Breech, Adjustable Hop Up, More of a Realistic Weight and Feel, and use more metal than just metal springs and the barrel haha. It's very easy to cock, and it has a nice sound with you play with the hammer, and the slide (when you cock it). The hammer is functional but, you can hold the hammer back when you pull the trigger when a BB is in the chamber, and the hammer won't budge. But it's a nice addition for more of the feel and look to the gun. The holster is RIGHT handed FYI. I recommend this pistol as a great side-arm to beginners, intermediates, and veterans/advanced players of airsoft. And I also recommend using .2 gram BBs for airsoft games, and .12 for shooting pests, cans, targets, and what not in the back yard.

my friend bought this from big 5 and he loves it, the cocking mechanism slides so easily, it seems imposible that it would only shoot lightly but it it pretty fair. it has a hammer that pulls back every time you pull the trigger, and most people would call it a working hammer, but technicaly a working hammer fires the gun, and this hammer just add realism, but i really likes it, adds a more pro feel, i personally have a few problems with it, being a more experienced airsofter, it doesnt have a very high fps, the package said only 290, but it feels mre like 220-260, anyways, even 290 wouldnt be too sasitfactory, so that is a con, and i hate the mag release button, you have to press it, and then pull the mag out, and its just a little anoying, because ussually it just slides out, he doesnt care, so neither do I, its a nice gun, just remember that it is a huge gun (11-12 inches) when buying, i love the large mag size (28 rounds) so, its a good buy, always remember eye protection! be safe, have fun!

So this pistol is not at all what it says..with .12 gram bbs it has a hop up thats way to great. With .20 it goes strait for 30 feet...not 90. Read more

Cheap
This gun is cheap. Very weak. 175 fps is pathetic compared to guns half its price. Yeah, having a spare clip is cool, but this thing sucks. Look into the UKARMS heavy metal guns.
