Scentless, light, and smooth. This 'oil' is actually a liquid wax ester that has served as a replacement for whale oil in cosmetics because of it's very close similarity to sebum (your own natural body oil). It can be used on skin or hair, and is a very powerful and ideal moisturizer that can be combined with as little as 2 or 1 drops to your soap and moisturizers. Can also be used with sugar to create a very gentle, skin-softening exfoliator.
I recommend this to anyone in search of a great moisturizer. My order came fast, they made sure to tape the cap of the bottle and placed it into a ziploc which was then placed into a box with biodegradable packing peanuts and my order-receipt. Would order from them again.

Is it really organic or is it fraud?,

The description made by (re-seller) DAB Nutrition (aka Direct Websites; Potential Dynamix LLC) says it is "organic". If you look at the front of the bottle on the picture it does not say "organic" but I trusted Amazon. We got the bottle and indeed it did not say "organic" on the front label. On the back bottom is an add-on sticker stating "organic" and other official looking numbers. Fishy or not?
My wife asks me to do further research since we wanted to use it for our newborn. Newborns have absorbent skins and soak up all chemicals/toxins in clothes and lotions so we try to get organic. I contacted the manufacturer Desert Essence and gave them the manufacturing batch number (at the bottom of the bottle. They said Amazon is not an authorized re-seller and that it was NOT organic. If you Google the re-seller you'll find more complaints. This looks like fraud to me. I spoke with Amazon and they were very helpful. The product is being returned. You've been warned about DAB Nutrition (aka Direct Websites; Potential Dynamix LLC)

Organic or 100% pure. There is a big difference but not less effective.,
By One is organic and the other is 100% pure. They are slightly different. The organic has a funny odor. It kind of smells like used cooking grease. A little unsettling but the smell is not strong and I use it only on my body and hair at night (then take a shower in the morning). I use the 100% pure oil on my face to moisturize. There is no smell at all. The oil in general is great. It doesn't have a greasy feel on my skin. When I use it on my face right after I wash it, I put two drops all over my face. It feels soft and clean. I have acne prone skin and this oil doesn't make me break out. That is a big factor for me because throughout the day my face gets really greasy and gross and then I start to break out. The oil feels light on my face and makes my skin soft and healthy. Sometimes I accidentally put too much on and my face and becomes definitely shiny so I just take a blotting sheet and take off the extra shine but no harm done. When I use the organic oil on my skin and hair, After I take a shower and my hair dries, it is soft and manageable. I really like it a lot. There is a difference in using it. When I do not use it and go about my daily routine, my hair feel drier. I have been using this for about a month and I like it a lot. I would probably go with the 100% oil because it is odorless Note this exact same review is on the organic one too but I just wanted to place my review on both so that i can reach more people.

Well I have two of the same branded jojoba oil.

awesome product,
i really like this product for my skin. i have been a chronic acne sufferer for a decade and this product (along with a clarisonic brush and mild cleanser) has cleared me right up! i put this on after cleansing as a moisturizer and it keeps my face from getting too oily believe it or not.

A Facialist's Opinion,
By
This review is from: Desert Essence Jojoba Oil 4 Oz (Health and Beauty)
I have been an Aesthetician (Facialist) for over 10 years. People these days are afraid of oil on their face because they think oil will give them acne. In the case of Jojoba oil the total opposite is true!
Jojoba oil heals the face AND acne. This oil will naturally hydrate the skin and reduce excess oil production. People break out because their own oil glands are producing too much sebum. jojoba oil mimics your skins own natural sebum thus tricking your oil glands to stop over producing its own oil. Since this oil is non-comedogenic (non-pore clogging) you don't have to worry about it blocking up your pores like some other heavy oils out there. It is very pure and is actually closer to a liquid wax than an oil. People with nut allergies can use it with no problem. I like to add a couple drops of essential oil of lavender to my jojoba oil for a nice fragrance since the oil has no scent on its own.

This review is from: Desert Essence 100% Pure Jojoba Oil, 4-Ounce, Bottle (Health and Beauty)
When I first got this small bottle in the mail, i assumed it wouldn't last long at all. Man oh Man, a little goes such a long way. I use this everyday. I applied some to my hair conditioner and shampoo, I deep condition with this weekly, and i STILL have half of the bottle left. I've had this for two months now.
