4.0 out of 5 stars PEYOTE CULTURE ALIVE and WELL in DESERT SPIRITS, August 20, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Desert Spirits [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Two buds driving to Mexico for cheap thrills stop their car and become stranded in the middle of nowhere. One of them has a stash of peyote, and convinces the other to join him in the ritual. When they take it, one passes out, but the other sees a spiritual shaman in the form of an inguana named NORI. There's an evil force in the desert landscape, prowling after the main character, and Nori saves the day. Bizarre black & white flick!
