Just Deserts,
By
This review is from: Just Deserts (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is the 3rd and last of the 'Three Mrs. Foster's series. It was as hot as the other two. Alexandria, Renee had closure and fell in love in the first 2 novels and now it's Danielle's turn. Danielle has always considered Tristan her best friend when she and her brother were growing up and now she realizes that she is in love with him. First she too has to find closure over the betrayal of her ex-husband in order to be free of what he did to her as the other ex-wives have done. The love scenes are hot and the wives-in-law as they started calling themselves after they met, have now all found happiness with good men after the betrayal of their dead ex-husband.

Lovers & Friends!,

Mrs J has done it yet again with Just Deserts! We meet two best friends Tristan and Danielle. Tristan loves his best friend and she doesn't know it. Danielle see Tristan as a big brother on the surface but deep down she loves him just as much as he loves her. They decide to become friends with benefits and of course after that it's all down hill and they realize just how much they mean to each other. We get to check in with the other couple from the previous 2 books as well. And of course this book is hot hot hot! Wouldn't expect anything less from Mrs. J!! What a way to wrap u a series.

Another Hit/ Saved the Series,

Brava Ms. Jackson! Brenda Jackson saved the "Three Mrs Fosters" series. The first book in this series was awful. The second was much better and this final book in the series was perfect. Ms. Jackson understands how to ignite the passion and chemistry between the principal characters. The chemistry between Tristan and Danielle was off the chain. My heart started beating faster when they were discovering each other for the first time. I love the way Tristan takes care of Danielle. Talk about a patient man. I also enjoyed hearing about the other characters from the first two books; it was a nice summation to the saga. I even liked that Marc was made to have a heart in the end. Ms Jackson penned the perfect ending. It was worth the money I paid for the first two books.

Dessert - NOT satisfying,
By NC Bookworm "MEM113" (Triad, NC) - See all my reviews

While I enjoyed this book, I feel that Mrs Jackson's writing style has become predictable. I expect and she delivers on the passion and happy endings. I know that she often writes "connecting" books where characters reappear, however, I'd like her romantic characters to have more depth. I gave this book three stars bcz I CANNOT believe that Mrs. Jackson's team (herself, proofreaders, editors) would let this go to print with the word "desserts" misspelled on the cover title as well as within the text. While I remain a fan, I expect Mrs. Jackson to raise the bar for others that follow in her footsteps.

Good Story Hated the voice on Audible Download,
By
This review is from: Just Desserts (Audible Audio Edition)
I love me some Brenda Jackson. I was so excited Harlequin that is finally puttng Brenda on tape. However, I made the mistke of getting the Audible download to my Ipod. This is suppose to be a BLACK couple. The voice on the download was a white woman. Her voice kept making me think she was talking about a white couple. It got so bad I had to stop listening for several days. I finally was able to finish listening. I don't mind listening to different people speak. However, in this case the voice did not match what a sister or brother would say. It made the story sound fake. I will defintely check out who is speaking before I buy another tape. This really ruined the story for me. I will have to get the book to get my Brenda fix.
