An unabashed if undogmatic believer, Max Erhmann knew how important a role faith plays in the human heart. The Desiderata of Faith presents 24 poems that touch on this universal theme. Includes 26 line drawings.

That Which is to Be Desired in a Book of Poetry,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Desiderata of Faith: A Collection of Religious Poems (Hardcover)
This book is a beautiful collection of both blank and common verse. It starts with a presentation of the title portion, the beautiful "Desiderata" (to be desired). It then follows with a poems that are beautiful, thought provoking, and sometimes breathtaking in their simple, but eloquent, insights. It is truly an example of what should be desired from faith. As Christ said "all things are made new" when we look at them through the eyes of faith as opposed to the eyes of pessimism.
